AHHHH A FLY!!!!

we were eating dinner last night and Mady sitting in her high chair was following a fly fly around the room. it landed in front of her and as she continued to watch it, it started walking towards her she flung herself away from it screaming. It had scared her so bad her eyes were huge. I swatted it away and told her it was OK she looked up with her lip pouting out and looked for it again. She then looked at me and cried so i picked her up. Hahaha it was so funny. She will let a dog maul her but if a fly even comes near she flips out :) just like her mommy, hates bugs. Haha you may not think it is too funny but we thought it was hilarious. It is moments like that that you thank heavenly father for blessing you so much as to be a parent. John has had some more interviews and we are still waiting to hear back. Our neighbor is pretty high up at direct TV and told john to apply and pulled his application there. I hope he gets that job so badly! they pay for your phone,free direct TV and Internet, give you a truck, good benefits, and some of the guys make anywhere from 1,000 to 2,000 a week!! that is 4 times the amount he makes now!!! it would be such a blessing if he gets that job. so pray for us... :)I did something bad yesterday. I wanted Mady's bangs cut so she didn't eat her hair all the time but i did it myself.... thanks to john.... oh you can do it coya it looks awesome! YEAH RIGHT!!! Mady now looks like she has a mullet but she is still cute... poor girl :) here are some pics... mady taking a bath, she gets into everything now even the cupboards...she is trying to walk more and is doing pretty well :) us at the fair,mady in her new swimsuit and mady in the hair cutting chair! :)

Ups and downs...

wow what a crazy last little bit! after we got back from Utah we had a small break like really small then Brandon Kristen and Ethan came to visit!!! it was so much fun to see them i was at my parents house more than my own place to quite a while :) Then there was the Murri reunion!!! so much fun! one of the most fun years in the last couple years, granted last year it had only been two weeks since i had just had a c-section :) it was fun to see everyone! and also my husband one "The Murri ring-toss tournament!" For those of you who don't know this is BIG!!!! :) first in law "Outsider" to ever win!!! :) i was so proud! i was so nervous towards the end i couldn't even sit down :) haha the sad part is i never believed in him ha ha each time her played i would see his face and go "dang it he lost".... "WHAT HE WON??!!" he he it was fun to see him win :) He is official a Murri sorry john your past the point of no return :) he he... another up... we just celebrated our three year anniversary :) it was fun and john got me these .... :)

On the downside my dear friends Megan and mike Jorgenson had their two week old boy pass away. I cried like crazy when i heard the news and even more today at his funeral. i feel for the loss of these two wonderful people and only wish there was something i could do to help them. I know they will get through this for they are very very strong and through the Lord all things are possible. Megs you are in my every thought and prayer and i love you very much as I'm sure many others do!

Utah Vaca :)

So this weekend... long weekend john and I and our friends Laura and Bryan Rovig went to Utah. We had a blast minus some little bumps in the road. We left Saturday and went to Tahcanos... it was pretty good then we shopped for a little while at the gateway. Then we headed to the condo after getting some groceries... We watched batman begins. Sunday we went to Laura's grandmas house and had dinner and looked at some really cool cameras from like the 30's! it was cool :) Then Monday we went to raging waters. It was fun all of us got a little fried. That night we went and ate at the restaurant buy the condo. Not so good of an experience there. They didn't have very many options and it was expensive. The view was gorgeous! and the weather was wonderful but our waiter was horrible!!!! The next day we went to lagoon and went on many rides and watched two cool shows. Well Laura and i went on a ton of rides Bryan did OK but john didn't really go on any. The boys felt sick all day and john threw up on the water ride rattlesnake rapids. He then was sick while driving back to the condo and that whole evening. Poor boy... i hope it was heat exhaustion and not the flu that is the last thing i need right now especially with the Murri Reunion and Brandon and Kristen and Ethan coming!!!! I'm so excited! :) we traveled home yesterday after taking a dip in the pool. And it was good timing because it was raining crazy like all day yesterday. I missed my baby like crazy but i had fun :) it is nice to get away and relax... when we picked up tiny she wouldn't let go of me and only smiled if i held her... if anyone else held her she would cry, including john :) it made me happy... then after putting stuff away i fed Mady and she fell asleep cuddling with me :) :) :) now back to normal life until next weekend when we go to the cabin for the reunion!!! YEAH!!! :) here are a couple pics from the trip :) sorry there aren't more :)

Madylena is 1!!!

So we finally took out the walk behind that was part of her bouncy activity center and she loves it!



I was surprised at how well she did with it her first time :) my little girl is growing up and i love it and hate it all at once :) i love watching her play with things and figure things out. She is growing up before my eyes :) I'm not missing those old days when she was little because i know i can have it again with the next child. So right now I'm just enjoying my beautiful little girl :) tiny also had her first try at spaghetti noodles and all and she loved it:) there is hope for this girl! that is one of the first solid foods that wasn't mashed.... she is slow in getting the hard stuff down but I'll know she will get it soon :) We celebrated Mady's birthday by heading to my mom and dads and had sandwiches from the sandwich tree and then had Mady open her presents... she loved doing that :) takes after her momma:) Then we sang to her and she blew out her candles. We ate cake and ice cream and let tiny attack her cake it was so fun :) tomorrow john and i will be heading to Utah with Laura and Bryan to hit lagoon and raging waters and just get away! :) I'm so excited :) post pictures later :)

The day after mady's birthday we went up in the mountians for our Huntsman family reunion. It was fun but i hate camping!!! :) i just don't like bugs.... i loathe bugs:) There were a bunch of cows and one morning one jumped the fence and my aunt and uncle had to get it out. I woke up to two bulls fighting each other. They were in heat and were acting crazy!!! i was going to look out my tent to see how close it was but i was afraid it would charge tiny and i in the tent :) i've never been so scared of cows in my life! they made sounds that cows do NOT make! :)some of the guys shot arrows by them and marshmellows at them to get them to leave and they did :) i love getting together with family it is the greatest joy in this world! :) heres some pics :)





The family under the tent aren't hiding from the picture being taken but they are hiding from the onslaught of marshmellows coming their way :)


Wow pretty...ugh

The happenings lately :)

So here has been what has been going on around here lately....



I tried my hand at stuffed Cornish hens and they turned out pretty good although i don't really like messing with whole animals. i felt like a predator picking it apart :)
Also tiny has found a new face to do :) it's kind of creepy, but cute all at the same time...




She also indulged in her first piece of chocolate all just for her and she loved it :) maybe a little too much :)




Now for the fourth of July :) or i guess it is the third we went to the murris for a BBQ then my fam and I rode our bikes to the fireworks :) it was so fun tiny was exhausted by the end but for that matter so was I :) tiny took to the fireworks just like i thought she would. she just stared wide eyed the whole time then almost fell asleep in the middle of them :) it was a fun day :)









Next day of fun that i took pictures of is our family boating day :) it was fun and i got fried :) here are some pics :)













Now new things with tiny :) she absolutley adores her little stuffed elephant I found her for Christmas. it is so sweet to see her hug and kiss it before bed or anytime we let her have it :) so sweet...


Tiny has my sensitive skin along with some exzema. She has been battling a rash by her moth forever because its so close to her mouth we can't put everything on it because she tends to lick it off. We will find mady a bloody mess when she scratches off scabs. So we decided to get tough. We put stuff on it all the time and now we decided to stop the scratching too. Here are some pics :)
