Life....

Well life has been crazy hectic and very boring all at the same time over here in the lil town of Shelley. John has had interviews with several companies including a few with Nestle and also one with Hersheys. Nothing has come of it yet but we will see around the middle of may if he may actually get a job. I've been crafting, being a mom, learning to sew, and trying to enjoy outside when its sunny (but still cold). I've also gone on a few trips. One to Utah. One to twin falls. And we will take another one to Utah tomorrow. Just John and I. I just really wish i could take a trip to Hawaii or California. I would also love to go to Arizona again. But alas the life of poor people. :) Speaking of which I hate broulims. John has been working for them for 4 years and they still treat him like crap and take advantage of him. He moved to the rigby broulims to be a manager. they offered him a pay raise. Which made the 1/2 hour drive worth it. This was months ago and he still hasn't gotten his pay raise. They also owe him like months of back pay for that pay raise. So as of right now he is making what he did at the Shelley store but he has to commute a 1/2 hour to get to work. Grrr... If they don't pay soon, Robert Broulims will hear from the angry Coya. And nobody should see that Coya.... :)On a different note. My birthday was pretty uneventful except for the fun birthday wii games i bought myself. :) Mady showed her happy birthday by being a major terror and grump. I will post pictures as soon as i can get my camera to work with the computer. Speaking of which! Johns laptop just ups and decides to break so now we are using an old desktop that thankfully we finally got Internet to work with or i would have been in trouble since i do all my bills online :) Easter weekend was a blast! the weather was nice. Mady and i spent two days outside for hours. It made me excited for spring. She did her own little Easter egg hunt and loved it!. I will post pics and movies soon as well. She did so well at finding the eggs and when we came inside she kept trying to find them haha. She is growing so much it is crazy. She is such a little toddler, with quite the temper and personality. She loves being outside even if it is freezing, raining, or even snowing. When she is not outside she is either crying to go outside or taking each nearby persons hand in turn, to see if they will take her outside. If she makes it outside alone she heads straight to the park. She already knows the way, and has no problem going alone. She loves to slide and loves the swings even more. I can't wait to see how much fun she has once the tramp is set up :) well that's all for now. I will try to keep you posted on the job front. I will also post videos and pics later. SEE YA

Arizona.... and the Lates

Wishing i could still be there where the weather was the perfect sunny spring days. Mady loved being outside. They had so much to do right near their house. It was quite a new experience from our normal. Staying in the apartment stuck with nowhere to go and nothing to do. Mady and I have both gone a little stir crazy since getting back. We miss you Brandon, Kristen, and Ethan! :)
Since we have been back Mady has been talking a little more. with the vocab of

She used to say thank you but has replaced it with a click of the tongue. silly girl. she runs around 24/7 i don't know where she gets all her energy. She eats like an elephant, except for when she doesn't feel good. I don't know where she puts it :) she loves being outside, shopping, and being independent. She has learned how to open up our DVDs, YIKES! She loves reading books and making faces at herself in the mirror. She loves to dance like a maniac and sing loud one note songs :) She is the queen of throwing tantrums. Tantrums vary from throwing, hitting, and screaming, to arching of the body, and banging her face on anything she can, including the tile. she has 16 teeth now and looks like such a little girl. i can't believe how fast she has grown up. Her favorite playing is with things she knows she can't do(if you tell her no, she does it more and faster and seems to be better when you act like she can do it.) She also loves to play with her tea set and feed herself, me and john, and her dolly. She likes to be a mommy. Swaddling her baby, rocking it. Patting and rubbing it. giving it kisses and putting it in her high chair to feed it :) very cute :)
John and I are pretty much the same. Our world pretty much just revolves around Mady till the lucky day we get to have another sweet life in our family. Well i think that's pretty much it. Later

What valentines means to our family,,,, :)

Sorry i didn't post yesterday. Anyways here is why john has to make every valentines day special. When i was in my second semester of college I had a huge crush on the boy in my fhe group. My cousin was the fhe mom and he was the fhe dad. I almost thought about lying when i was told the assignment so that i would be the fhe mom and he would be my hubby haha. I didn't though. anyways i started trying to get this guy to talk and notice me. I went to the gym when he went i gave his "apartment" baked goods. THe only problem was that the wrong guy was noticing. One of johns roomates liked me and probably thought i liked him back and thats why i was over there. sorry. i was determined to get a date with john. Sometimes we went to his water polo games. After one said game i went home at about 11 in the evening. A while later he texted me and this is how the conversation went....
John- sorry i didn't say hi to you after the game, i had to get to a bowling match right after.

Me- Thats ok. you played well :) Oh by the way Happy valentines day (It was after midnight then.) Make sure you spend it with someone you care about.

John-(thinking he was helping out his roommate) And who is it that you care about?

Me-(thinking he would get the hint) Are you sure you wanna know? I'm not very good with rejection.

John- (he didn't) Ya i wanna know

Me- Well if you haven't noticed i kinda like you.....

John- Oh that's nice but i have to go to bed now. good night.

End of Conversation....

Lets just say i was devastated. It was the worst valentines day ever. I even almost got hit by a car that day too. So that is how john dissed Me on valentines day... and he will be spending the rest of his life making it up to me :)

THE CULPRIT



THE DISASTER

After waking me up at six and not letting me go back to sleep Mady decides to make my day even better. The grumpy little girl only took a hour nap making doing the laundry kind of difficult. While I'm putting a load in i hear Mady pull the candle warmer plug out of the socket like she tends to do, trying to put it back in. I tell her NO! Mady you..... That's when she does it. She backs up a couple steps and pulls as hard as she can. Lucky for me the candle had been plugged in all day so the wax was a melted and the glass shattered everywhere. The wax flying everywhere! Th is little genius knows to not hurt herself in her trouble making. That is why she backed up and only pulled at the very end of the cord. I had to put her in her crib for there was glass everywhere but it was stuck to the floor with the wax. It splattered all over the wall clear by our second bedroom to the wall by the laptop. All the way from our front door to our couch. So pretty much half of our apartment. I spent hours on my hands and knees scrubbing wax off the walls and floor. I threw the candle warmer away and vow never ever to have a candle again! Well that was my wonderful day yesterday, if anyone knows how to get purple wax coloring off the walls or of suede boots let me know :)
