THE DISASTER

After waking me up at six and not letting me go back to sleep Mady decides to make my day even better. The grumpy little girl only took a hour nap making doing the laundry kind of difficult. While I'm putting a load in i hear Mady pull the candle warmer plug out of the socket like she tends to do, trying to put it back in. I tell her NO! Mady you..... That's when she does it. She backs up a couple steps and pulls as hard as she can. Lucky for me the candle had been plugged in all day so the wax was a melted and the glass shattered everywhere. The wax flying everywhere! Th is little genius knows to not hurt herself in her trouble making. That is why she backed up and only pulled at the very end of the cord. I had to put her in her crib for there was glass everywhere but it was stuck to the floor with the wax. It splattered all over the wall clear by our second bedroom to the wall by the laptop. All the way from our front door to our couch. So pretty much half of our apartment. I spent hours on my hands and knees scrubbing wax off the walls and floor. I threw the candle warmer away and vow never ever to have a candle again! Well that was my wonderful day yesterday, if anyone knows how to get purple wax coloring off the walls or of suede boots let me know :)

Mady Loves Popcorn And shoves it in her mouth like her daddy hahaha :)

Well things have gone back to normal after the holidays. They were rough on Mady this year. It took a couple sleepless nights to get her back on her schedule... and it also reminded me how much i enjoy my sleep and how OK i am with not having another one :) Mady had her 18 month apt and it was not fun. My doctor was pretty much accusing me of starving my child i was getting ticked! Mady is in the 0% for weight and the 28Th% for height. which is what the ratio has always been. I'll tell you what Mady typically eats and you let me know if it is not enough for such a little peanut. For breakfast she will have a few fruit loops, A whole yoplait yogurt, and then a little of whatever i eat, (eggs, cereal, or toast.) Then she will have a snack like string cheese. Then before her nap she has about 8-10 ounces of milk/formula. Then when she wakes up she has lunch. The other day she had sloppy Joe in a roll and a banana. Yes a whole of each! Then when john gets home she has another snack. then for dinner she has whatever we are having and if she doesn't like it or is still hungry she had a jar or two of baby food. then before bed she has another 8-10 of bottle. Sorry but she eats more than me i don't see how I'm starving my child! Anyways now that i got that off my chest :) Mady is a bundle of energy and spunk. you don't want to be around when she doesn't get her way. She has also taken up screaming.... I've never heard such a loud high piercing scream :) She has gone to nursery the last two weeks and loves it... I'm not gonna lie i was a little sad at how much she loved leaving us :) haha
I'm now a teacher to the sunbeams in nursery i love it the only problem is they gave me a nonactive flake for a partner so i have to try and handle and teach 5 kids on my own every Sunday. If you have any fun games or suggestions let me know :)
John is working at the broulims in Rigby and leaves me at home with no car to go anywhere and i feel so trapped. I go a little stir crazy. Good thing i have a new Winnie the pooh cross stitch to keep me busy. As well as my instant view netflix. I am currently watching the seasons of desperate housewives. I'm also going to the gym pretty much every day... we will see if it pays off. got to go now Mady is screaming for my attention :)

Took forever again....

So I'm late again as always but oh well. Just not much in a blogging mood lately. Well of course the latest happenings are Christmas, new years, Going to Washington, and coming back home. It was all pretty fun. I started out making a lot of treats for Christmas. trying my hand at fudge, caramels, and English toffee. And they all turned out great i was really surprised and happy! i had decided that from now on i will start a new tradition where we do Christmas's around the world. It was fun. One night we did France. Pierre Noel Came to our house. We laid out our shoes and woke up in the morning to find them filled with little toys and treats. Mady loved hers and found it as soon as she got up. :) Then one night we did Germany. We invited my family over for that. We did an advent calender and tried our hand at ginger bread houses. It was also really fun. We also did another day. I be live it was japan. you clean the house really well in preparation for Christmas. Sorry i didn't take any pictures ahaha. Then we had the huntsman Christmas party at my mom on Christmas eve. Then stayed up late playing games and having fun. We spent the night at my parents and woke up for Christmas the next morning. Mady loved it. The only problem was after she opened a few gifts she wasn't interested in opening any others she just wanted to play haha I've learned my lesson. Get her less things :) then we had the murri Christmas party which as always was a blast. then we made the journey to Washington the next morning. We drove to Utah and then flew to Seattle then drove from Seattle to Custer. It was long but it was nice to see all of johns family. We had fun. Played games, went five pin bowling in Canada, and just enjoyed each others company. It would have been a lot more pleasant if Mady hadn't gotten sick. I don't know what it is about Washington but we always end up getting sick with one thing or another. Poor girl had a fever fro more than 3 days (First time ever getting a fever). I'm pretty sure she had a sore throat and just was not a very happy girl. She felt better about the second day we got home. It was nice to have my little girl back to normal. I wasn't a big fan when she was so grumpy, but i don't know too many people that are happy when they are sick :) Then after a while we went to my parents to watch the final college football game. It was really fun and we found out how much Mady really loves popcorn :) She's worse than her parents :) Speaking of Mady.... and speaking of speaking and Mady. She had started to say her first words. She has babbled out a bunch of gibberish for a long time and she understands what i say very well. She just doesn't feel like talking. finally she decided to. Her first words are...(Well they are more like phrases)..... Thank you, Here you go, Uh-oh, I did it! That's pretty much it so far but its pretty darn cute. I Know It's About Time :)

So i haven't posted for a long time. Its been the same ol same ol at our house except for the very very fun week of thanksgiving. It was so fun having the family all together again! :) Here are some pics :)




















So Mady has been growing by leaps and bounds haha well not physically really just developmently. She still won't say any words but she talks your ear off. She loves talking on the phone even if her phone is just her hand. She loves to run around with her fingers in her ears and also learned how to jump haha kind of.She also loves to color :). she loves to dance and sing and when she doesn't get her way she is the queen of tantrums... ok ok hold your comments i know where she gets it :) Although i'm pretty sure i didn't mutilate myself for fun. Mady will hit her head against anything in a tantrum; tile, doors, walls, couches, people. One time I gave her the wrong wii remote so she threw it and it didn't go very far so it hit her in the head. It hurt her so she decided to grab that remote and continue to slam it into her head. ...... uh so dramatic. She is getting a bunch of teeth and is such a grump continues to wake up in the middle of the night screaming and i don't know why... i hope its just because of all her new teeth coming in. Well that's about it for us i'll try and post my new recipies i'm going to try. Homemade caramel, english tofee, and fudge mmmmmm mmmmm :)
